This was taken from a little ways below Engineer Pass, in the San Juans of Colorado – that’s near Silverton, in the SW corner of the state. You’re looking west/northwest, toward the Sneffels range. This was taken in the late fall, blah blah blah.

This is California Gulch. It’s below California Pass. It’s not in California. It’s in Colorado. It’s near Silverton, in the San Juans.

Here are some aspens last fall, below Kebler Pass, in Colorado. (That’s near Crested Butte).

This is what fall looks like just outside of Crested Butte, Colorado. It’s pretty nice.
New PC is still on its way, so no Telluride photo again today.
I think this is Yosemite Falls. I mean, it’s absolutely something from Yosemite National Park. Honestly, I don’t remember which waterfall is which, and this is from almost 3 years ago, so the details from the trip have long ago started to become fuzzy. We were there in early November. I like that the fall colors there peak around November, because that’s later than most other places I might find myself in the fall. (Which means that, if the budget/time allows, I could theoretically go there after my own fall ends, and get a second go. Not that I generally have budget/time to do that. Just saying, “if”… uh huh.)
Anyway, maybe next week I’ll be back to Colorado photos.
