I didn’t get a chance to get a Telluride-area photo queued up for today, and for that I apologize. Instead, here’s a view of Grand Coulee, in central Washington state. (Yes, of Grand Coulee Dam fame.)
Ok, we’re back in business! I got the new PC up and running, with a little help from my friends (thanks Dan!!). I haven’t yet transferred over my data drives and such, but I did quickly grab an image to use for today, while I was in my 2am fog, about to declare success and head to bed.
This is Bridal Veil Creek, along the Blue Lake trail (the trailhead for which is at the top of Bridal Veil Falls, at the end of the box canyon.) I figure it would be a way cooler picture of those flowers in the corner were actually blooming, but whatever, they weren’t.
Still no PC. Don’t buy anything from Acer, people. Everything they make is garbage. I *have* my new PC, but it doesn’t work, and their support is not helpful.
So, back to the archives. Here’s one from Hawaii. This was taken on Oahu, at the very southwest corner. The names are fuzzy, but based on a quick Google Maps search, it looks like this is Makapuu Point, on the Kalanianaole Highway.
New PC is still on its way, so no Telluride photo again today.
I think this is Yosemite Falls. I mean, it’s absolutely something from Yosemite National Park. Honestly, I don’t remember which waterfall is which, and this is from almost 3 years ago, so the details from the trip have long ago started to become fuzzy. We were there in early November. I like that the fall colors there peak around November, because that’s later than most other places I might find myself in the fall. (Which means that, if the budget/time allows, I could theoretically go there after my own fall ends, and get a second go. Not that I generally have budget/time to do that. Just saying, “if”… uh huh.)
Anyway, maybe next week I’ll be back to Colorado photos.

I apologize, I don’t have a Telluride-area photo queued up for today. I went ahead and upgraded my PC (so it will run Lightroom – the 8 year old or whatever beast I was using before just wasn’t cutting it), but it’s in the middle of being shipped. Fortunately I’ve got a ton of stuff in the backlog that I never got around to posting yet.
This was taken at Point Reyes National Seashore, which is a little bit northwest of San Francisco.
